Brainwaves – May 17, 2016 – Remembering Kevin Gilbert

This week marks the 20th anniversary of the death of Kevin Gilbert, whose music spanned everything from full on progressive to quirky pop. So this week’s Brainwaves starts with a retrospective of some of Kevin Gilbert’s work – with Toy Matinee, Giraffe, Sheryl Crow and solo.

Then it’s the first Brainwaves “mother” set (in honor of last week’s Mother’s Day…or just because…?) including music from The Guess Who, Paul Simon, The Durutti Column, Natalie Merchant, Sparks, Kaki King and Mother Mother.

Plus two songs from the Icicles and two songs in Hebrew. Two hours of eclectic alternative radio starts now!

Visit the Brainwaves page on andHow.FM for times to listen live or on-demand.
