Brainwaves – May 17, 2022 – Belated Mother’s Day music
Written by Brian Blum on 16/05/2022
Mother’s Day may be just a Hallmark holiday but it’s still fun to mark the matriarch’s special day. That was last week but it’s not too late to treat Mom to some “mother” songs from Sparks, Peter Gabriel, Kaki King, Peter Gabriel, Natalie Merchant, Daft Punk, Paul Simon, John Lennon, Sufjan Stevens and, of course, the band Mother Mother. Plus a tribute to Kevin Gilbert who died this week in 1996.
